The Hong Kong arm of the Ningxia Youth Confederation is a pretty vibrant group comprised of entrepreneurs with business interests in Ningxia, officials from the representative office of Ningxia Government and youth from the region who are keen in organising member activities for the promotion of Ningxia. In this particular wine appreciation event I was tasked to host, the organiser expressed a strong interest in his members’ interests to learn about the wines made from representative grape varietals in Ningxia.
The event was hosted in the Dynasty Club in Hong Kong, the banquet team was most professional in working with me to come up with a 12 course Chinese banquet which paired well with wines from Ningxia and those made from the same varieties from some of the old world wine regions.
