Bernice Cheng

Founder of Cross Border Wines

Bernice is the Head of China, Harlan Estates. Prior to this role, Bernice was the founder of Cross Border Wines which focuses on the education and celebration of wines, spirits and food. Since its inception she had curated food and wine pairings for private gatherings to board dinners; provided wine education to businesses, students and wine lovers. She had also advised investors and businesses in legal and operational matters relating to the wine business. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Bernice is a Stage 2 Masters of Wine student, and a wine judge for various international wine competitions including the IWC and IWSC. She was a WSET Level 4 Diploma holder awarded with a scholarship by Concha y Toro. As captain of her team they took 1st place in the 2016 Hong Kong International Top Tasters Competition. Other wine certifications include Certified Sommelier – Court of Master Sommeliers, French Wine Scholar (Highest Hons.), Italian Wine Ambassador and Barossa Master Educator.
